The Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami commissioned Jonathan Gonzalez and Office GA to develop the environmental furniture throughout the museum and museum garden. The architecturally considered pieces work to integrate with the existing building while maintaining their own design autonomy. Neo-futurist in form, these crafted pieces root themselves in organic materials. Aluminum, wood, and marble. Highly functional, while evidencing sculptural tendencies, the collection of work can be seen and used as museum visitors move throughout the space, inside and out.
